The classes available through this program will give students course credit towards both a high school diploma and a college degree. The Early College Program is designed to include students of all ability levels by giving them the support needed to successfully take and complete these dual credit courses. The Program includes: * Free tuition for college coursework taken through the program if students are 21st Century Scholars or qualify for free and reduced lunch * Personalized classes to help students learn study and time management skills * Tutoring and mentoring * Courses taught at the high schools, Ivy Tech, and Indiana University The Foundation of Monroe County Community Schools invites you to come learn more about Bloomington Early College at one of two upcoming community conversations. The locations for these meetings were chosen because of scheduling issues, but anyone from the community may attend either or both events. * November 28th at Tri-North Middle School - 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. * December 12th at Batchelor Middle School - 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. These events will include: * A presentation about Early College by MCCSC Superintendent, James Harvey, and either Dave Dresslar (University of Indianapolis) or Claire King (Indiana University). * A Question and Answer Session with John Whikehart or Nancy Frost from Ivy Tech, Gerardo Gonzalez of Indiana University, Mark Fletcher (BHSS), Jeff Henderson (BHSN), and Mary Lovejoy (MCCSC Asst.
